FAQs

What are wax melts?
Wax melts are similar to scented candles, however they do not have a wick to light.  Instead, they are heated in a wax melt burner.  If you're a newbie to wax melts, you will need to buy a wax melt burner in order to use your wax melts.  There are typically two types of burners, electric and tealight.

How do I change the wax in my burner?
When you need to change the wax in your burner, we recommend one of two methods:

1) When the wax has cooled and is solid, pop a tealight underneath as normal and wait around 1-2 minutes (this is to melt the base of the wax and separate it from the burner) then gently push on one side of the wax and it should slide straight out.

2) When the wax is warm and is liquid, wipe out the melted wax using kitchen roll, cotton pads or something similar, taking care not to burn your fingers.

Between uses we recommend regularly cleaning your burners with warm water. Please do not use cold water on a hot burner as this may cause it to shatter. Make sure your burner is completely dry before use as water does not mix well with wax.
